“You were always the Best!”
.
Kim Bullard – Keyboardist, Elton John Band, Crosby, Stills and & Nash
“Over the past half century, I have been privileged to work with a select few artisans that have risen to the top of their craft . Among those exemplary artisans is Mike riffle. Mike has skills that many in the piano technician profession can only observe, admire and revere. His abilities in voicing and regulation are gifts that a mere handful of technicians ever achieve. A consummate professional, and one of the very best. I have been blessed to witness his artistry.”
.
Stevan E. Mills - Vice President/General Manager Steinway Piano Galleries
“I cannot recommend the technical work of Michael Riffle strongly enough. In my decade and a half in the piano industry I have never met a technician who so seamlessly combines his vast knowledge, impressive skill, and willingness to hear what the artist wants. Michael has the rare ability to listen to the customer, and truly understand what they are saying, and what they need from their piano. Whether that be a retail customer, a school or university, or demanding performing artist.”

Chad Million - District Manager Keyboard Division Yamaha Corporation USA
“I have witnessed Michael's exceptional skills as a piano technician. When Michael arrived on campus, there was a noticeable improvement in the quality of our concert instruments. He provided us with outstanding piano tunings and preparations that were consistently praised by visiting artists and pedagogues of international renown. Michael is one of the finest technicians I have ever encountered, and I recommend his work without hesitation. He will be a valuable asset to any program.”

Dr. Peter Jutras – Editor in Chief Clavier Companion Magazine - The University of Georgia
“He is the finest piano technician I have encountered at the four institutions at which I have taught. Mr. Riffle faced a supreme test for a piano technician before a demanding audience at the University of Georgia in February 2011. I hosted and directed the American Liszt Society Festival in the bicentennial year of Liszt's birth. Registration for the three-day festival set a record for the society. The 283 registrants came from Europe, South America, Asia, Canada, and 33 of the United States, including music faculty and students from 66 institutions. 42 pianists performed during the 23 concerts and lectures running from morning to night. At the start of the last afternoon of sessions, I introduced Mr. Riffle as the technician for the pianos used during all Festival events. He received a tumultuous standing ovation from an audience overwhelmingly composed of professional pianists.”
